The main idea of the message was that the church is not a building, but a community of believers who are called to represent Jesus and make a difference in the world.

How can we avoid becoming too busy and distracted in our Christian lives?
In what areas of our lives do we need to shift our focus from ourselves to God?
Why is it important to be intentional in our relationship with God rather than just being busy?
This week's message at Life United, entitled 'Upon This Rock', was a continuation of our series discussing the role of the church in our lives. Pastor John reminded us of the importance of staying connected to Jesus, our rock, in order to thrive in our faith and fulfill the Great Commission.
Let us not get too comfortable in our Christian lives and forget the importance of reaching out to those who don't know Jesus.
We must make time for intimacy with God and allow His presence to renew and transform us.
