The main idea of Pastor Paul's message is that God's love is a gamechanger in our lives. It may not change our circumstances, but it transforms our souls. Pastor Paul shares from the book of Lamentations, where Jeremiah, a preacher that no one would listen to, expresses his bitterness and despair. However, in the middle of his lament, something gamechanging happens. God's love enters the picture and transforms the storyline. The rest of the book takes on a different tone, as Jeremiah experiences a fresh wind from God's love. Pastor Paul reminds us that just like Jeremiah, we may have been through God's wash machine, but His love can calm our fears and transform our lives.

How has God's love transformed your life?
Do you find it difficult to live in God's love when you are facing hardships and struggles? How can you allow His love to calm your fears and transform your life?
How does realizing that God's love is personal and powerful change the way you view yourself and others?
Pastor Paul Feuerstein, Lead Pastor at Helena First, shares a warm and conversational message titled "Total Recall" with us. He begins by expressing his excitement for Easter and Baptisms, and giving a shoutout to those getting baptized, including Jayden. Pastor Paul reminds us that if we haven't been baptized but are followers of Jesus, it's time. He encourages us to scan the QR code or stop in the lobby to learn more. He then shares a personal experience of watching a college basketball game where he heard something jolting that made time stand still. The coach gave his team an unusual talk, telling them to play like they're loved, because they are. Pastor Paul points out that many of us live as though we're not loved by God, thinking of Him as a cosmic killjoy who wants to ruin our lives and fun. Some of us spend days and years trying to earn God's love, while others look for love in all the wrong places. However, the biblical definition of love is a selfless, sacrificial, unconditional commitment to the welfare of others.
Bring God's love to mind daily and make a choice to think about it. Our thoughts fuel our souls, and when we think about God's love, it can transform us.
Realize that God's love is personal and powerful. It is wide enough to reach us wherever we are, long enough to last forever, deep enough to handle any despair, and high enough to overcome our sin and failures.
