Main Idea

The main idea of the message was that our relationships with our children and our spouses should reflect our relationship with God, and we can do this by building a strong foundation in all of our relationships.

Scripture References

Matthew 7:19-27, Proverbs 23:13-14, Proverbs 13:24, Deuteronomy 6:4-7, Proverbs 5:18-19

How can we build a strong foundation in our relationships with our children and our spouses?

No matter how great of a parent we are, there will always be a 'God Gap' in our parenting. This is where our children must turn to the Father for guidance.

In what ways can we prioritize our relationships and make sure they are built on a foundation of love and commitment?

Discussion Questions:

Why is it important for our relationships to reflect our relationship with God?

How can we show our children and our spouses that our marriage is our priority?

How can we consistently pray and express love and affection in our relationships?

Our relationships with our children and our spouses are a reflection of our relationship with God. Let us strive to make them strong, loving, and built on a foundation of faith.
