The main idea of the message is that Jesus is above all and there is no one greater than Him. He is the image of God, the creator of the world, the supreme being, and the savior of all.
Colossians 1:15-23, Hebrews 1:3, John 1:18, John 14:8-9, Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-5, Colossians 1:19-22.
How does the concept of Jesus as the Supreme Being differ from Him as the Supreme Creator? How does this add to our understanding of Jesus?
Why could only Jesus accomplish the perfect sacrifice for our sins? How does that make you feel?
What image do you present to the world? How can you improve on this image and show the world the fullness of who you are in Christ?
Pastor Bryan from Reverb Church talked to us today about how there is no one greater than Jesus. He used the book of Colossians to show us the four important aspects of Jesus' supremacy. He reminded us that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the creator of all things, the supreme being, and the ultimate savior.
Let us remember that Jesus is the perfect representation of God and the one who holds all things together. Let's trust in His supremacy and not try to take on that role ourselves.
Let us also recognize Jesus as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Let's strive to present ourselves as holy and blameless before Him.
