The crux of Pastor Michael's message was that our attitudes towards generosity are a reflection of the abundance and condition of our hearts. He emphasized that as Christians, we are called to live lives of generosity, which is not just about money but encompasses all aspects of our lives. By adopting an 'It's Yours' attitude, we align ourselves with the heart of God, who generously gave His Son for us. This transformation in attitude begins with the belief in our hearts and the confession of our mouths that our lives are not our own but belong to God.

How can we balance being generous with being good stewards of what God has given us?
Can you list the eight areas where we are to live generously in order of difficulty for you personally?
What steps can you take to identify your unique gifts and talents, and how can comparing them to others be destructive?
In our new series 'ABC = Free,' Pastor Michael kicked off by exploring how our attitudes, particularly towards generosity, align with biblical principles for financial freedom. He used Acts 4:32 to show how early Christians shared everything in common, reflecting a generous spirit. We were challenged to examine our own attitudes, whether we cling to a 'That's mine' mentality or embrace an 'It's Yours' reality. Pastor Michael highlighted eight areas of our lives where we can practice generosity, including our time, money, possessions, gifts, talents, hospitality, encouragement, love, wisdom, knowledge, forgiveness, and grace.
Reflect on the eight areas of your life where you can practice generosity and take one step towards being more giving in one of those areas this week.
Consider the attitude of your heart towards generosity and if you find a 'That's mine' mentality, pray for a transformation to an 'It's Yours' reality.
