Main Idea

Hailey Stroderd showed us that God is raising up women to carry the spirit of Deborah—women who war in the spirit, lead with courage, and stand in the gap for the next generation. We were reminded that spiritual motherhood isn't confined to biology, but to obedience, intercession, and leadership. Deborah’s story from Judges showed us how God uses those who dwell in the secret place and then act with courage to bring deliverance. In this cultural moment, Hailey called us to fight back against the spiritual battles threatening our children and communities, using our God-given authority to birth revival and protect identity, truth, and purpose.

Summary

At Our Savior's Church, Hailey Stroderd delivered a fiery Mother's Day message, urging every woman to embrace the mantle of Deborah. Through her own testimony and the story of Deborah in Judges 4-5, she showed us that God uses women to break cycles of oppression, lead with spiritual authority, and protect the destiny of future generations. She honored all forms of motherhood—biological, adoptive, foster, and spiritual—highlighting their role in standing in the gap during times of cultural crisis. Hailey called us to rise from prayer to action, to not only fight for our children but also for the children of God. The message left us empowered to take our place in the spiritual battle for identity, truth, and freedom.
