God has brought us to where we are for a reason and only He can bring us out. He wants us to live productively in our current culture and to work towards the prosperity of our city.
Jeremiah 29:4-9, Acts 10:38, Acts 17:26-27
What are some ways we can equip our children to love God and live for Him in our current culture?
How can we balance being in the world but not of it?
What sacrifices are we willing to make to expand our church and reach more people for Jesus?
In this message titled "Instruction Manual" at Helena First, Pastor Paul Feuerstein talks about how God has a plan for our lives, even when it may be different from our own plans. He also discusses how we, as Christians, can live and interact with our culture in a secular society. He uses the example of Babylon, the greatest kingdom of its time, to show how we can thrive and not just survive in a culture that may be different from our own beliefs.
Let's reread Jeremiah 29:1-9 and discuss it with our families or small groups. Also, let's pray for our city and seek ways to serve our community.
