The central theme of Pastor Bryan's message, 'Encountering God's Holiness,' was the transformative power of experiencing God's majesty and purity. We were taken back to Isaiah's vision, where he saw God 'high and lifted up,' and the seraphim proclaiming God's holiness. This encounter led Isaiah to a realization of his own sinfulness and the need for atonement, which is graciously provided by God. For us, this message serves as a reminder that despite the uncertainties of our world, God's sovereignty and holiness remain constant. It calls us to seek a fresh revelation of God's holiness, leading to a life of repentance, worship, and a deeper understanding of the grace offered through Christ.

What steps can we take to open our hearts to a new understanding of God's holiness?
How does recognizing God's holiness change the way we see ourselves?
How can an encounter with God's holiness influence our interactions with others?
In our recent journey with Pastor Bryan at Encounter, we delved into the profound experience of Isaiah as he encountered God's holiness. We were reminded that, like Isaiah, we live in rapidly changing times filled with uncertainty, but through Isaiah's vision in Isaiah 6:1-7, we found hope. Pastor Bryan highlighted the sovereignty and authority of God, His unchanging rule amidst our earthly challenges, and the importance of recognizing our own sinfulness in the light of God's perfect holiness. We learned that encountering God's holiness is not meant to lead us to despair but to repentance and worship, as we understand the cleansing and forgiveness available through Jesus' sacrifice.
