Main Idea

The main idea of the message was to ask God to use us in His plan, listen for His leading, and have courage to act on it.

Scripture References

Daniel 1-2, 1 Corinthians 13

What is one way you can ask God to use you in His plan? How can you listen for His leading?

We need to be willing to listen and take risks for God's kingdom, even if it feels uncomfortable.

Have you ever felt an impulse to get involved in a situation or conversation that goes against your natural instinct? How did you respond?

Discussion Questions:

In what ways can we demonstrate the power and love of God without being judgmental or out of touch with society?

How can we use our gifts and passions to serve and love others in our community?

What does it mean to have wisdom and tact when sharing our faith with others? How can we be both confident and humble at the same time?

Love is what ties it all together - it eases the tension of following Jesus while being relevant to society.

Call to Action

Some next steps to take this week:

Ask God for wisdom and then listen for His answer. When we ask, we should expect Him to be faithful.

Be willing to step out of our comfort zones and be the salt and light in our community, even in unexpected places like Walmart.
