The main idea of the sermon is that faith is necessary to activate the seed of God's word in our hearts, and that faith will also lead to us experiencing God's blessings. We must also have corresponding action in order to receive these blessings.
Mark 4.3-9, Matt 13/Luke 8, Mark 4.14-20, Mark 4.26-28, Heb 11.1-2, Mark 11.22-24, James 1.2-8, Matt 16.13-19, Col 1.9-14
What struggle, defense, what lack of provision, even for the future will require faith in God to see His will come about in your life?
How much heaven on earth are you experiencing right now?
What is faith?
This week Pastor David discussed the parable of the sower in Mark 4. He discussed four types of soil and how faith is necessary in order for a harvest of blessing to occur in our lives. He taught that faith is a muscle and the more we work it, the more it will work. He also spoke about how God's blessings require both faith and our corresponding action. To conclude, he emphasized the importance of prayer and that it can be used to activate faith.
We should reflect on where we need to activate our faith in our lives.
We should also pray for God to work in our lives and to bring about His will.
